Victims of Crime With Disabilities Resource Guide

October 2008 – Laramie, WY, USA The Victims of Crime With Disabilities Resource Guide is and extremely valuable internet-based resource developed through a partnership between the Association for University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) and the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) with funding from with funding from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). It is an excellent site and well worth visiting.

Although the site announced that due to funding limitations some sections of the site will no longer be kept current after 30 September 2008, it continues to be a valuable resource. The homepage is designed for users to use search to find the information that need. It includes lots of information on products and services. for example, a search on the keyword curriculum yields 47 items or a search on the keyword bullying finds 12 resources.  One section, Cases from the Headlines, published news on abuse of people with disabilities until May 2008, and includes and archive of more than 1000 entries.
