This collection of stories is only a small sample of cases in the news this month. In selecting these stories, icad has tried to reflect the geographic diversity and something of the wide range of characteristics that can be found in these many cases.
20 March 2009 – Montreal, PQ, Canada A videotaped police interview of a woman with Down syndrome describing how she was raped was shown to court. The woman described clearly how she was assaulted and raped by a man who showed her a gun and threatened to kill her. (more…)
