While this resource is was created specifically for the Canadian context, it has a huge amount of valuable information that can be applied anywhere. and in particular some great videos on the topic.

February 19, 2009Baltimore, MD, USA – 19 February 2009 Today when I opened my mail, I found a copy of the brand new text Combatting Violence & Abuse of People with Disabilities: A Call to Action by Nancy Fitzsimons and published by Brookes Publishing, Co. It wasn’t a surprise because I wrote a foreword for the book a few months ago, but it certainly came at a good time. The recent torture case emerging from Hamilton, Ontario, here in Canada has left me feeling angry and frustrated. (more…)
